Michael Hodge -- Michael is an active touring and studio guitarist, writer, and producer. He has performed and recorded with some the most successful artists in pop music and currently is a guitarist for the largest church in the U.S., Lakewood Church, in Houston, TX. Michael uses BOSS pedals on his studio and touring pedal boards as well as his stage rig for the weekly Joel Osteen television broadcasts. He is also a big fan of the Roland G-5 VG Stratocaster.

These patches are well-suited for various applications but I primarily designed them for live performance with a band. Particularly, they lend themselves to sounds and textures used in a lot of contemporary worship music. With these patches, you can run the multi effects straight into your PA system. This will engage the speaker simulator. Otherwise, just run it straight into your amp or even two amps for stereo, and go!

1FUZZ OCTAVE LINEThis patch is great for lines. It's crunchy with an 1/8-note delay at 125 BPM. EXP pedal controls delay level.
2OCTAVE LINESThis is an alternative patch for cleaner lines and delay riffs. 1/8-note dotted delay at 125 BPM. EXP pedal controls delay volume.
3BIG CRUNCHYThis is a cool patch for a straight rock vibe with WAH at the ready to spice it up. EXP pedal is set to WAH.
4DRIVE DOT DELAYSThis is a light crunch tone that is great for double stop stacatto stuff. EXP pedal is set to WAH.
5AMBIENT PADSThis patch is perfect for intros and swells with lots of sustain. EXP pedal is set to the FREEZE function.
6CLEAN MOTION PADThis is a great patch for ethereal EFX with motion. Might be nice for an intro or laying down a pad for underscore.
7BRIDGE ROTARYI like this rotary patch for creating a "Beatle" vibe and for bridge sections of songs.
8START HERE TELEThis is a clean Tele tone. Expression pedal is set to Wah just in case.
9FUNKY AUTO WAHThis is a fun patch if you get a hankering for the funk. The EXP pedal adds the octave below.
10CLEAN PAD DELAYSGreat for clean pads with dotted delays.
11EFX PADSThis is an ambient type of sound with delays and the EXP pedal controls a light overdrive.
12LOW ROCK LINESCrunchy rock tone for low unison lines and chords. EXP pedal is set to WAH.
