Andreas Oxholm Collection

Here is a set of 10-patches demonstrating some of the many features that the GT-1000 has to offer. This is proudly created by the Norwegian bassist Andreas Oxholm. *In this Liveset, PATCH UP/DOWN are assigned to BANK UP/DOWN switch.

Andreas Oxholm is a Norwegian bassist and composer of instrumental music featuring the bass guitar as a melodic lead instrument. His artistic vision is to show the world that the bass guitar is capable of doing more than bridging the gap between rhythm and harmony. After graduating from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), He has played countless concerts, festivals and tours in the UK, Scandinavia, Europe, and the USA. The more established artists he has worked with are Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck), Mitch Malloy (Van Halen, Great White), Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big, Racer X), Tyler Warren (Queen + Adam Lambert) and Thomas Blug (Bluguitar, Thomas Blug Band). Andreas was runner up in the Music Radar's "Bassist of the Year 2019" by the London Bass Guitar Show and received the "Young Performing Artist of 2019" award from Larvik county.

1AO - SOLO BASSSOLO BASS patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. It has a relatively short delay and reverb to it, so it is recommended to adjust those parameters to suit the song you are about to perform. It has a programmed Looper control assigned to NUM3-5.

2AO - TREMOLOTREMOLO patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. Added on FX2 on the signal/effect chain in between the delay and the reverb, is a Tremolo pedal. There is also a tap delay programmed on the pedalboard NUM5.

3AO - TOUCH WAHTOUCH WAH patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. The FX2 pedal is a Touch Wah Bass effect with a Low-Pass Filter, along with a short room reverb

4AO - FLANGERFLANGER patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. The FX2 pedal is a Flanger Bass effect, combined with both delay and reverb. There is also a tap delay programmed on the pedalboard NUM5.

5AO - SLOW DOWNSLOW DOWN patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. At the very beginning of the signal chain, the Pedal FX is being used as a Pedal Bend -24 pitch. Tap delay is programmed on the pedalboard NUM5, along with reverb at the end of the chain.

6AO - DS DS patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. Adding a X-OD Distortion with CTL1, before the preamp, makes it a simple but effective distortion bass patch.

7AO - OCTAVEOCTAVE patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. The FX2 pedal is an Octave Bass effect, with only the -1oct activated. Clean and effective octave bass patch.

8AO - FRETLESS FRETLESS patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. The FX2 pedal is a Defretter Bass before the reverb ends the signal chain.

9AO - FADEFADE patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. Along with both delay, reverb and chorus, this patch is using FX2 with a Defretter Bass effect and the FX3 with a Slow Gear Bass effect. There is also a tap delay programmed on the pedalboard NUM5.

10 AO - CHORUS CHORUS patch is using an X-BASS Compression with a Natural Bass AIRD PREAMP, with a Noise gate. Along with reverb, this patch has a Chorus effect on the FX2 pedal in the signal chain.
